Firm History

William Goldfarb began practicing law in 1991 following his graduation from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University opening his own firm, The Law Offices of William K. Goldfarb on March 18, 1996. The firm's first office suite was modest consisting of approximately 933 rented square feet, located at 301 S. Charlotte Avenue in Monroe, North Carolina. With only one dedicated employee, Shelia Forbis to help bear the caseload alongside of Mr. Goldfarb. Diligent work and long hours caused the practice to prosper and the firm’s reputation for achieving justice to grow.

As clients continued to seek out Mr. Goldfarb to handle ever increasingly more difficult cases, the firm required additional staff and space for these demanding cases. Mr. Goldfarb eventually purchased the office suite he started his practice in and expanded it to include 10 offices and two conference rooms housing 12 staff specializing in several different areas of the legal field. Even Mr. Goldfarb’s father, Carl joined his son’s practice in 2008 after a lengthy legal career beginning in 1959. The Law Offices of William K. Goldfarb now handles all types of personal injury cases from Workers’ Compensation to Medical Malpractice with the same compassion and personal dedication that led Mr. Goldfarb to start this firm in 1996.

To date, Mr. Goldfarb has resolved and closed over 3,000 cases and at any given time Mr. Goldfarb and his staff are handling over 200 open cases for clients. Here at the Law Offices of William K. Goldfarb, we feel that our clients are part of our extended family and extend to them an open-door policy. Our clients are always welcome to drop by and check on the status of their cases. Our firm does not advertise for new clients through television or billboard ads. Our clients strictly come to us by recommendations, from either current or previous clients or through other attorneys.
